I am getting notifications from Malwarebytes saying it’s blocking outbound traffic from Plexscripthost.exe trying to access webpages… 2 of the webpages are conistently popping up being blocked… “9anime.to” is the most often… the other one is “watchseriesfree.to”.
These are popping up multiple times a day… I have reinstalled plex more then once and it hasn’t stopped. I have googled endlessly trying to figure this out and have come up with no fixes.
Could I please get some help figuring this out.

Maybe you should clean out all those old and long defunct Plex plugins?

Which ones are old and defunct? … I do not remembering ever installing these. How did these get here?
these are the plugins i have in my user folder for plex
Delete the first two.
WebTools is still usable.
Services.bundle is in there by default. leave it.
Leave the other folder untouched.

I deleted the first two out… Left services and webstools folders in there only.
I will report back if that fixes it in a day or so.
Thanks for the bit of advice in advance if this fixes it.
This is not the plex data folder. It is the plex program/binary/executable folder which is populated by installing Plex server.
