My Plex server has 2 plexscripthost.exe processes running “all the time”. They use a CPU core each, holding them consistently at 100%. This happens even if there is no obvious activity on the server, it can be straight after reboot (but if I kill them, it takes a while before they come back). I do not need to consume any media in order for these 2 processes to appear.
There are no transcoding jobs or anything like that running.
Can somebody help me understand what these 2 processes are, and how I can prevent them from “always” running?
