Hello, so I’m on the latest version of Plex. What happened to thetvdb agent and why isn’t it working for me at least? There’s a show Autopsy: The Last Hours Of… The TVDB sees the episodes how I want them to be. Plex TV agent doesn’t. How can I make it where thetvdb is the default agent for tv stuff? Currently in agents thetvdb is at the top, yet it doesn’t see all the episodes for season 7 and many others. This is how seasons 7 should be:
You might want to double-check the episode ordering option you have set for that tv-show library. Usually this will default to TMDb. You can change that or you can override it on a per-show level ( > Advanced → Episode ordering).
This way you can set the preferred ordering and e.g. select from TMDB (Aired), TVDB (Aired), TVDB (DVD) and TVDB (Absolute).
This is not about the server settings.
The newer Plex agents can be configured differently for different libraries. You’ll find their configuration when editing the actual library (⋮ > Manage Library > Edit... → Advanced). The override is available when editing an individual show.
