Is it possible to play random X-minute chunks of videos in a library? Would this be a channel or some other type of plugin?
I’ve seen much older discussions of a “Saturday Morning” mode where TV episodes are shuffled. Since those posts, Plex has included a shuffle mode. I’d like to put a twist on shuffle mode - play a random 5-minute clip from the video, then move to the next shuffled item.
Assumptions:
Local video files
Local plex server
Clients include pc/browser and AppleTV
I’m happy to learn whatever development info is required, but I don’t even know if this is a possibility or where to start looking!
