Wanted: App which can play video-clips in shuffle mode

Question: I have a directory on my external hard disk in which I have a lot of video-clips. When I want to play them I select 1 file and start playing it. But when the clip is finished the player doesn’t automaticly goes to the next clip.

So what I’m looking for is an App that plays all the clips which are in the directory and even can play them in a random order (shuffle).

I have tried VLC as this does the job on my Windows computer, but it isn’t able to do that as an App.

Is there such an App?

Create a separate library (type: “Other Videos”) in Plex. Point it to that folder.
Once all the clips have been ingested, call up this library in a Plex client of your choice. Switch to the “Library” view mode.
Press the shuffle button.
