HI there would it be possible for plex to re-introduce plugins that are community Led. As I would like to see a Hyperion Plugin for Plex. so that I can use my WLED light controller and RGB strips without the need for a raspberry PI. I know this is a feature within Kodi as there is a Hyperion plug in for Kodi.

Plugins removal?

According to the latest blog post, PLEX is going to remove visual plugins very soon from the eco system. Along with several other features they are removing this is one of the worst decisions they have made. So, Plex, why are you removing one of the last possibilities to customize and extend PLEX with own implementations? It might be that only ~2% of the users are using it, but they ARE using it. If you want to discontinue the current API/implementation, please provide an alternative. BTW.: …

Plex stopped supporting them because hardly anyone used them (allegedly).
