Core/Backgrounds: Fix background resolution scaling; needs something higher than 100 in AddonSettings/Background image resolution scaling, and <fanartres>2160</fanartres> and <imageres>2160</imageres> (for 4K) in advancedsettings.xml
Congratulations on all the implementations in coreelec recently and for the auto-update, soon youāll buy a CE for yourself too hahaha, Itās a whole other level of experience compared to 1 year ago!
Hi folks! Loving PM4K so far, and just installed it on a CoreElec box (Uugos AM6B+). That said, I see a lot of tweaks for CE happening, and so Iād like to shift to the beta builds. I also understand that the ability to update PM4K was just added, but since Iām on what I thought was the most recent (stable) version, I donāt have that option. Could someone point me in the right direction on how to select beta builds and install? Thank you!
Hi, I am using Plextuary CPM skin, Iāve hotkeyed PlayerProcessInfo to various buttons, on remote and keyboard but just doesnāt seem to do anything?
Edit: It does work outside the PM4K app, am I doing something wrong?
For it to work inside PM4K player, you need to map the same button in both Global, and Fullscreen Video categories (assuming, ofc, that you use the Keymap Editor add-on). This did it for me.
A few pointers for you @avrignaud. Get yourself onto a beta by downloading the zip posted by panni a few posts prior to yours. Install it via install from zip.
When thatās done go into the settings you access from within the addon and go to the System section. You will find a section āupdate sourceā. Change it to beta.
If you havenāt done so, have a read of post 1 in this thread. Thereās a ton of info about the addon in there.
What @Korbus47 said. Since 0.8.0-beta you can also open āStream infoā in the player settings of PM4K and then long press ENTER/OK (Context menu) to switch to the native PlayerProcessInfo.
Core/Updater: Reload update_checker.py if changes were detected (you should see fewer āmajor changes detectedā messages after updating from now on)
Core/Service: Also reload service.py imports after reloading update_checker
Home/Updater: Fix short commence wait
Home/Updater: Make sure to exit the UI no matter what, when requested
Episodes: Try fixing rare select/focus issue when automatically changing seasons after watching the last episode
Seekdialog: Always show a little buffer on the buffer bar, even if itās a lie (the buffer might be so small compared to the video size, that we actually have buffered something but itād never show)
SeekDialog: Fix unmatched parentheses in template xml
Home: Only listen to updater events when active window
From this release onwards, it shouldnāt be necessary to restart Kodi after an update that updated the updater, as the updater can update itself
Thank you very much! Just noticed the new script from panni, so Iāll grab that and install from zip! Iāve definitely read the first post a few times, but was struggling to figure out how to get updates (versus installing fresh). Thanks again!
Damn, OK. Iāll need to remove that constraint then, in the next version. Seems like when itās set to default, it doesnāt work. Thanks for testing.
Anyone else not getting the auto updater? I keep getting version 0.8.0-beta4 instead of 0.8.0-beta4.1c. Whereās the option to change the update source to Beta? I canāt find it
