I have a Pivos XIOS DS and currently using XBMC-Linux Beta 100912, it works great on my Pivos XIOS fast menu response, smooth 1080P video etc…etc… I prefer to use Plex now not XBMC and want to install PMC on my Pivos under a lightweight Linux. I know I can download the PMC app for Anroid and run that but I don’t like the way the android app looks on Pivos Xios and it runs slow and clunky. I’m also aware I can download the XBMC PlexBMC Plugin, however I cannot find where the “install from zip” option on my XBMC-Linux Build I’m currently using. Anyways my question is there a PMC Linux Build for PIVOS XIOS DS? I would assume it would have to be a .img file used to update the firmware on the Pivos Xios Ds, PMC & Linux compiled into one file? If there is not such an .img firmware would it be possible for someone to put something together for that purpose, I’m very programming challenged LOL more of the hardware end of things for me.
Thanks for any help!

The answer is no, it doesn’t exist, But i want to start working on one. It’s honestly shocking to me that there isn’t more support for this kind of project anywhere. My goal is to get plex on a device for under $100 that can direct play most media, maybe the xios is that box, maybe the rasberry pi is, hell, maybe I should shut up and wait for the ouya, but I don’t feel super optimistic about that.
Install from zip is in there, go to install add ons, and then keep going up a directory (clicking the … up top) until you find it.
