I have a couple files with HDR metadata. I have tried every combo of settings and I can’t seem to get Plex to pass it through. I thought I read it should now be able to? I’ve tried HDR in Windows as well. As soon as I play one of those files HDR shuts off on my TV. Any ideas?
My Shield TV passes it through fine. My AVR & TV both support it. Each link in the path has to support it.
Every device in my chain supports it. I use it all the time with the HTPC when playing games. As soon as Plex plays a video it kicks off HDR even if the file has the metadata.
Just seeing if anyone has had luck with PMP from windows.
