PMP Raspberry Pi 2 no audio on HDMI for specific TV

The TV I’m having issues with PMP playing audio on is the following…

I have an XBOX ONE hooked up with an HDMI cable and it has PMP installed on it. That works flawlessly. When I unplug the HDMI from the XBOX, plug it up to my Raspberry Pi running PMP Embedded then reboot I get NO audio. I only see the video.

I can plug the Pi up to other monitors/TVs and it works fine. It’s just this one TV for some reason it will not work with. Would it matter this TV is a 4K TV? It’s my only 4K TV.

What could be causing the audio to not be present over the HDMI cable?

Well, amixer cset numid=3 2 seemed to fix the issue.

More to the point, I used the following to make it be persistent with reboots…

  1. I edited the file autostart.sh file with nano /storage/.config/autostart.sh.
  2. Added amixer cset numid=3 2 to the end of the file.
  3. Rebooted the pi reboot.
