PMS becomes unresponsive as soon as Scheduled Tasks start

I genuinely don’t know what to look out for, so no sadly. I ran the command but it printed bazillions of lines, so no clue :see_no_evil:

Hahaha can confirm as a father  Okay, checking for corruption it is then

If the system is wedged because of memory issues, the last output from dmesg is likely to be obviously related to that. If it’s random “attached this hardware” spam I wouldn’t worry.

It doesn’t sound like the whole system is wedged anyway, right? It seems like Plex is just getting blocked up on some task.

How big are your database files?

Exactly, I don’t think so. Just increased the swap size prior to my last message, so there’s nothing peculiar in dmesg for my untrained eye.

Gonna run the corruption check now.

com.plexapp.plugins.library.db for instance is 650MB, I just started to rebuild a server

EDIT: So the integrity check just printed “ok”, so I think that one is out of the way ^^

That’s not HUGE but it’s not tiny.

Do you have hundreds or thousands or TENS of thousands of media items? Movies + Episodes + Songs. Very roughly.

Well it’s tenthousands.

~ 30k episode files
~ 90k songs in the music lib and
~ 1.1k movies

Does that matter in relation to the size of the db file? What are your thoughts?

That DB size sounds reasonable for that many items. No thoughts.

Sadge  Okay then.

I will come back if the issue arises again. Maybe it was all magically solved now by increasing the swap size, but just guessing.

Thank you very much for your efforts and your time! Much appreciated and maybe see you around on the next occasion  Good night!
