PMS CPU pegged from SRT to ASS subtitle transcode?

Server Version#: 1.18.1.1973
Player Version#: XboxOne latest

I noticed my CPU was pegged from the Plex Media Server process in htop (see attached SS). It remained pegged until I killed the stream in question (see attached SS). I don’t understand why this stream would cause such high CPU usage. Could it really be the SRT to ASS sub transcode?
Can someone enlighten me?

Will provide my PMS log if needed but has user info in it so not looking to post pubicly.

There was an old issue for this that was previously fixed in 1.17.0

(Transcoder) The server could use large amounts of CPU time when converting subtitles

Have not heard of other reports that it’s back.
