There has been a bug with the server since December that is causing issues with many servers. Currently if a client tries to convert subtitles from srt to ass, the process will run away with the cpu and take all available resources. This has been present in every build since 1.14.5488. This was brought up in a different post but the plex moderators and devs have hidden the topic.
Here is a good breakdown of the bug and what is happening. Can we please get this looked at? I really am tired of having to use 1.14 to not have my server crippled. I am running on linux but others have seen this in docker, windows, and mac. It isn’t tied to a specific OS, just any server version after 1.14 has the behavior.
