Is this every time you “scan” or every time you “clean bundles”?
Every time i scan… not even try to clean bundles… plex media server just time out during the process and close…
Can you please look for crash dmp files for Plex Media Server captured by windows in this folder %LocalAppData%\CrashDumps for the windows user account that Plex Media Server process runs in
If you find them please zip and send me the zip or link to an upload of it by Private Message - please note down the dates and times the files were created and include that information
Thanks
Don’t have any crash reports… the option to send report to plex was activated…
Interesting.
There was no evidence that the crash reporting within Plex Media Server got triggered
The logs show the following

Could you check the Windows Application Event Log through Event Viewert and see if there was an Application Error / Exception at about 12:34:16 on 15 September
There were lots of database busy log entries round the time and I have come across crashes when the database is locked out for a while
Well, my log event stop 17 september unfortunaly… i will reinstall the new version and send you new logs files, crash dump and event…
if i remember this migration was very long just after the fist start after installation…
Here i got the same problem, it crash 2-3 min after startup . after 5 reboot plex work well for 1 days and crash after
yes - it took about 30 minutes. Looking into the detail, Appears to be the blob db optimizes taking long time.
With regards to the crashes, some crashes fail to generate dumps - eg if stack corruptions or memory issue.
Could you check you still have the regedit mentioned here - Crash Logs: Plex Media Server | Plex Support
This would ensure windows has a go at capturing a crash dmp into the %LocalAppData\CrashDumps folder
PS: could you see if you have backup files for the main db and the blob db from berfore the upgrade - so would be before Sep 15, 2022 12:20 - if you have these from the scheduled tasks backups (they happen every 3 days), please zip and send me link for the zip by Private Message - too big for attaching to forum message)
I can confirm my registry is ok… i have crash dump for my x264… can confirm i have no crashdump for plex.
send you main.db and blob.db in private message
Hello, still having the issue with the last version…
what’s happen?
We do have an issue at the moment where database sqlite3 / soci exceptions lead to crashes rather than just an error being logged
The fix is being worked on and will probably be coming out in Plex Media Server 1.30.1
Thanks for the news!
