Server keeps crashing - 1.22.2.4264

I really don’t understand what’s going on. I’ve installed 4 updates in the past 2 days, and my server continues to crash. I’ve reverted back SO many times to a previous update that it’s literally wreaked havoc on my plex server. No matter what version I try, it crashes now. Seriously, when is this going to end?! I’ve been spending so much time trying to figure out why it keeps crashing, and finally when I revert back to a somewhat stable version from nearly a month ago, it crashes. Then, I use a database backup from a stable version, and it won’t even load the database now.

Please tell me what the hell happened over the past 3-4 days because my users can’t use anything and neither can I! I can’t keep restarting plex every hour or two. This is ridiculous.

I reverted back to 1.22.0.4163 BEFORE I had any issue at all. Hopefully it won’t crash again in an hour.

would need to see logs from what it was doing before crash and crash logs if there.

those server logs appear to be from after you downgraded. need the ones before that,

I just recently bought all new hardware and rebuilt my server and I am getting constant crashes about every 8-16 hours it’s driving me nuts! I can’t make any sense out of the logs there doesn’t seem to be a consistent pattern. My old server was on the latest version and was working fine, it’s all brand new hardware with a Xeon processor I’m lost as to why this is happening.Plex Media Server Logs_2021-03-30_15-59-01.zip (941.5 KB)

it does not look like your crash logs uploaded to us. is there anything in any of these folders? Crash Logs: Plex Media Server | Plex Support

I sent them yesterday. Are you stating that they aren’t the correct ones?

the server logs were fine, but the zip file that was the version number just had empty folders in it.

You’re correct - I thought there was something in there, but there wasn’t. I looked at other versions crash dumps, and there’s nothing in those folders either. Is there something I’m missing?

yes… I agree… what are the next steps to figure that out? Is there anything else you need from me? I’m not sure why the crash log reports are empty. I checked other crash log folders from other versions, and they’re empty as well. Plex itself just becomes unresponsive, essentially. The last stable version (I’m currently on it now) is 1.22.0.4163.

not right now. That is why I am asking the other two who said it was crashing for them to look at their logs.
