I’ve been having some problems with my PMS for the last bit. My setup:
PMS installed in a docker container on my unraid server
Unraid server is a supermicro board with dual E5-2698v2 processors, as well as a GTX1650 GPU passed into the docker for transcoding
My PMS server goes down randomly. Well, it doesn’t go down, but it stops functioning properly.
- At times when I get up in the morning and turn on my tv, the instance of PMS on Unraid is missing.
- The container is still running when I check, and it shows running at the command prompt inside the container, but it’s not showing up
- I cannot access the server by putting the ip:port/web into my browser. If I do this is simply connects me to a 2nd instance of PMS I have running on a different computer
- Strangely, if I already had a window open that was connected to the Unraid PMS, that one still works. I can see settings, play videos, etc. So the connection that was previously established can access the server, but a new one can’t. (I’ve tried it in incognito mode, from different browsers, etc).
- If I was playing a show on my apple tv and paused it, it will then give me an error that a session cannot be established.
- The only thing that solves this is a reboot of the PMS docker container.
I’ve attached the server logs that were collected in debug mode.
