If the Windows machine is in stand by mode, Plex server cannot, errm, serve.
Thus standby is prevented. If you want the machine to go to sleep, stop and close plex server using the Plex task tray icon.

Hello and thanks OttoKerner, if I stop & close PMS i can’t use plex anymore.
I just want to watch a movie thrue PMS and then my movie is finish, let my computer go in stand by mode after lets say 3 hours, i don’t care if PMS is in std by when i’m sleeping after the movie.

it’s strange that we can’t let PMS to be driven by the windows status (awake or stdby) and allow the computer go in std by mode like any other program like serviio windows media server etc…

Can we set PMS or windows in order that PMS follow the same behaviour than others program instead of blocking the stdby mode ?
