I have a bash script the backs up (copy to) the /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases/*tmp files, BUT…
the last backup files generated by PlexMediaServer are dated 2018.12.12.
I’m not sure, but that very well could be the same time frame as the last PMS update…
anyone else having this issue?
In the interim, I’ve changed my (crontab) bash script to tar and date the actual db files and copy them off, but unless I first stop the Plex service (which I’m NOT doing) , the db file is open and generates an error. I don’t think it’s a real issue as the ‘open file’ did not actually change while tar’ing, but…
