It did not. We would have to recreate your setup to see why it is not working
This is the first time this is being reported and obviously there is a problem with the python plex media server processes
You could consider switching to a solution like what is documented here - not moving home area but directories - make sure though they remain local drives
Ah, darn. I see, pretty infeasible.
I admit it is a niche issue that very few mac users will encounter as not many will split data across different partitions and drives, but with any luck the Plex devs will add some sort of fix to make this possible.
I had looked at using sym links before instead of moving the home directory, but moving it just seemed to be a ‘cleaner’ way to do it if that makes any sense.
At least for the time being, that is my only course of action if I want to use PMS on the system, I’ll just have to live in hope I suppose.
