PMS maxes out aspect ratio at 2:35

Hi all

I noticed that my movies that have an aspect ratio higher than 2:35 are played on my TV with a 2:35 aspect ratio (so, vertically stretched). Transcoding or changing the aspect ratio on the TV app doesn’t fix the issue.

I checked the associated xml files and they all show ‘aspect ratio’ as 2:35, despite showing the correct height and width for the files. Another user also recently reported the same behaviour. (At least that explains why the movie will play with the wrong aspect ratio…)

In MediaInfo and in the Plex database (read with DB Browser for SQLite), height, width and (display_) aspect ratio are all correct.

So this seems to be a PMS issue that needs fixing?
