Will the DNS functionality of the Plex Connect Python script ever be integrated into the Plex Media Server? My only current concern with Plex Conect is that it must run in the foreground in a terminal window, and isn’t straightforward to run. I know that there are workaround a for that, but it would be nice if one didn’t have to.
So… Will it be a standard feature in the not too distant future?

I wouldnt count on it ;)
I guess only if it becomes an official Plex Cliend and not a Third Party (isn't that the definition of third party?).
For that we need to wait Apple to open ATV for apps and do not rely on an unofficial/unsupported hack.
Let's see what happen in a week.
