Some shows display out of order, even though their RSS is fine, itunes displays them as fine (I’ve even added podcasts from itunes links). Attached are two screenshots of two shows where the episodes are out of order which impacts the “on deck” section and new episodes do not show up on deck.
*Playback speed in client app arm7a is not persistent when leaving the app and continuing playback. If going back to app playback goes back to 1x.
*synced podcasts are not the default, when playing back offline continuous play does not occur in queue with offline media, app streams next podcast from internet.
*sync does not work properly on podcasts that are all marked as played. No sync media placeholder stays in phone sync screen like when syncing shows or movies.
*sync appears to download to internal storage instead of SD card despite SD card being selected as media storage within plex client app.
*sync podcasts uses data even with data toggled off.
perhaps the URL is bad or doesnt support offline or somehow doesnt work well with Plex. I tend to google “mark levin itunes podcast” and use the itunes URL to Plex podcasts.
I sure would like it if Plex would make podcasts behave more like movies and tv shows and such. Allow us to download to the server machine - then allow us to send to mobile devices FROM the main machine just like we do other things. THAT would be nice.
Well - Back to “Podcast Addict” for now. I’ll keep checking. It IS nice to have podcasts in Plex. They just need to work out a few bugs I think. Give them time…
