Podcast not refreshing content

For the past week the No Agenda podcast has not been refreshing.
Feed: http://feed.nashownotes.com/rss.xml

I don’t know if this is controlled at the server level or elsewhere.
I don’t seem to see http://feed.nashownotes.com/rss.xml anywhere in the server logs.

The last episode available via Plex is 1073 even if I try to delete and re-add the podcast.
The actual latest episode is 1075.

Updated to the new Beta build 1.13.9.5439 and same behavior.

Podcasts are listed under “Online Media Sources”; wonder if that means Plex Server isnt recording logging for it.

Debugging some in Chrome; the metadata does seem to be stored at Plex so there isn’t anything local to do as far as I can tell. Looks like Plex just needs to refresh on their servers.

Hmm if this is the way podcasts are implemeted in Plex I have to say I’m not a huge fan. I was under the impression it was being stored on my server like the way music and movies are.
Part of the alure of Plex is being able to host your own media.

I hope this is just part of the beta and the model will be changed to fit the rest of the Plex model before this hits final release.

I like being able to pick up where I left off and sync across devices but “at the end of the day”, I want to be able to download directly from the source, not through a proxied feed provided by Plex.

The feature is listed under online media sources. so it makes sense in that way. I think they are just using a centralized directory for metadata and ‘episode’ lists. Playing is streamed directly from the media source listed in the feed if I’m understanding some other threads properly.

What you’re talking about is more of just a media library that has a custom agent for tagging and album art.

Feed Updated; newest and missing episodes are now available.

I’m seeing a similar issue with a few other podcasts in my list. What did you do to pull the updated content in? shoptalkshow.com/feed/podcast/

This is all managed by Plex I guess.
You have no control over what is in your podcast feeds and neither does the podcast publisher.
I’d recommend skipping Plex as your source of podcasts if you want anything that’s remotely reliable.
