Pointers On Converting From A Strm To A Plugin

I’m quite new to Plex (sp pl. excuse the noob questions) and love the way the content is organized and am looking to get the videos from a site .

Am able to get one video at a time using the strm so I know the Site Configuration is ok . I’ve tried to use an existing plugin but none of them exist that are really basic which is what I need .



Any ideas on how I can get going ?

Am looking for the basic steps like do I create a MediaContainer or DirectoryContainer and which function ?

(Yes , have seen the wiki/docs , thread on plugin dev but its not sufficient for a noob like me — I need simple sample :slight_smile: )



The strm is :

plex://localhost/video/:/webkit?url=http://ishare.rediff.com/video/entertainment/rajesh-khanna-makes-wildcard-entry-into-bigg-boss/824012



and my xml file in the root Sites Configuration is :
