Post Processing Script on Windows 10

Server Version#: 1.23.1.4602
Player Version#: N/A
Tuner Make/Model: HD Homerun CONNECT

Using XMLTV?: ?
Channel number/Name: N/A

I am running a Plex Server on Windows, I have a HDHomerun CONNECT which is recording tv shows. The TV shows appear as .ts files which are very large.
I would like to ‘postprocess’ these files using ffmpeg to transcode the files into a smaller size but I just cant seem to get a postprocessing script to work and have no idea where it is going wrong.

I have read on these forums that the script should be in “Put this script as an batch file in the .grab recording directory.” but in the DVR setting sit says the script must be in “C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Scripts”. The scripts folder didn’t exist so I created it - neither seem to work.

I have no knowledge of scripting, I have tried to copy some examples from these forums but at this point I would be happy with a script that simply put “Hello World” into a log file.

Which log file would a postprocessing script put it’s messages into?
