Trailers are not playing before the movie starts. They (trailers) do play on other plex players, ie; plex for home theater, android, etc.

I don't believe Plex for Xbox One supports that feature yet
Indeed - continuous video playback isn't (yet) supported in XB1 - which would be required for Cinema Mode. You can view a movie's trailer from the preplay, for now.
