I have pre-rolls working for movies. It plays well before a movie played directly from my library. Played or unplayed that doesn’t matter.
But when a movie is in a playlist and i start it from there the pre-rolls will not play before the played/unplayed movie.
Is there a solution for this? I cannot find anything so far.

That’s the intended behavior. Pre-rolls and trailers should be displayed when starting a movie from a hub (e.g. on your home screen, the library recommendation tab), when opening it from the library screen or the movie’s details page.

Cinema Trailers
Using the Cinema Trailers feature once preparations are completed is simple. In fact, it’s as easy as just playing a movie! Start playback in any of the normal ways:
- From Recently Added on your Dashboard
- From the poster when browsing your movie Library
- From the item details page
Thx for your reply. But your answer is specifacly for cinema trailers i presume? I am speaking about the pre-rolls. Isnt that a different issue?
No.
Pre-Rolls will show alongside those trailers – therefore the same rules apply.
