Looking for some help with collection settings.
Organized my libraries a couple times now with personal collections, only to open it up a week later and the server automatically reassigned movies to new collections.
The server also puts one movie into a collection even though I have it set to a minimum of two.
I still want to maintain collections, I just dont want the server to do it automatically.
Any pointers?

What do you mean by “personal” collections. Like your home videos?
if the files are mp4,m4v with an embedded “album” tag assigned that will apply as the collection.
the automatic collections are from the online databases.
Ok, for example in a movie library, I had a collection that I manually created called “Star Trek” added several movies to the collection then a week later all of them were removed and added to three new collections. “Star Trek: Alternate Reality Collection”, “Star Trek: The Original Series Collection” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation Collection”. Just trying to maintain my own collections and not have the server make it them on automatically.
Still like the server to pull in other metadata, actors, genre, etc.
Which agent is set as the agent in your movie library settings?

thanks I will try to reproduce the issue. Though you should have this set to disabled if you don’t want it to do it automatically.
