So every time I add a movie a collection for that movie is also added. While this is not a problem, it is annoying. Whats worse, it that I remove these auto added collections, every once in a while, they are all added back. Whats weird is that I dont understand what it uses to create the collections, cause some of them are strange. Is there a way to keep this from happening?
Under Settings for Agents, Movies, The Movie Database, click on the gear icon to the right of the The Movie Database entry and Un-check the “Use collection info from The Movie Database”. This should stop new automatic collections from being added,
I’m one of these people that want the automatic collection creation done…however it does not seem to work . Having to have rebuilt my media server I lost the installation and config files for plex. I reinstalled, and now I have no collections at all… I have over 4TB of movies, … is there anything else I should be doing other than the above advice from sGarver which obviously used to “enable” the service.
