I recently switched my main Plex server from linux to a Mac. No matter what I do it goes to sleep regularly. I have the energy saver prefs set correctly and tried installing Amphetamine. The computer is in the other room, but I know it goes to sleep because when I open app.plex.tv it shows as offline. Thanks for your help.
Something else I thought of, it comes back online as soon as I open Screen Sharing and remote into it from another Mac.
Sometimes with the Plex (IOS) app, I need to sign in twice before I don’t get the red offline message. Try signing out of the app, quit, re launch re-sign in.
Don’t take this the wrong way, but how old is your hardware? Some of the older mac’s had trouble.
Reset SMC may help.
