Keep getting prompts to update the server version but the top post here hasn’t updated. Should I be checking back or is there no Universal update imminent?

I am not on the M1 build of this yet, but I am also seeing that on my end where the libraries do not auto update. I wonder if it’s an M1 machine bug? I have an M1 Mac mini I’m running my server on but I’m on the Intel (Rosetta 2) build.

Just did a quick test for you. 68 Mbps 4K HDR with TrueHD and PGS to 4Mbps 720p, stereo AAC and burned subs on Plex web player. The M1 mini hovers around 35% according to Varys on iOS. Audio impact is negligible. Burning subs has a greater impact, but in my experience single digit percentages.

Ahh. This is awesome. Do we know if this new PMS Universal is written natively for ARM/M1 or is it running through Rosetta? What are the specs on your M1 Mini?

That is the whole point of this. This is a native universal build for M1/2.

I’m seeing that of late with the native Intel version. Twice I’ve had to restart PMS to get things working again. Stop it and start it and all back working fine.
