Is there a way to produce a printable report of library content?
I am endeavoring to reorganize and update my movie collection. I am prioritizing my collection into groupings so that I can store my most favorite movies in my best-protected file space. I am also checking to see which movies can or should be upgraded to a higher resolution format. I am also trying to do a few other house-keeping tasks. It would be very helpful if I could print a list to review and make notes about what needs to be done. Ability to output to a text file would also be useful.
The “List View” does what I want, but I don’t know of a way to route that information to a printer or a text file. I like how I can choose the columns for the report, but limiting the amount of information what will fit on one screen at a time is tedious for the type of work I am doing and I cannot make notes on the screen.
I might add that a printed (or text file) report would serve as an aid to the restoration of library data, should the need arise. Then again, some of us still like to look at information on paper.
