After installing Plex Media server app and opening it on my MacBook Air (early 2014, MacOS 11.7.10 Big Sur), I get a black window with the message “A problem has been detected with a core component of Plex Media Server” and links to the forums and log instructions. I had to get the logs manually as there is not even a menu to access anything. I tried manually going to the Name and Media Library tabs to try to set up manually, but changes aren’t saved, such as specifying the media folder on my external drive. So … ?
