Hi everyone, I have a small problem since I changed my nas. Basically my LG smart tv correctly displays the server of my new nas, while the “plex media server” seems to have disappeared from the inputs (it was present after the hdmi1, 2, etc. ports). How can I make it reappear? I specify that I have two other LG smart tvs and the “plex media server” is present there. Thank you very much!
P.S. DLNA is enabled…
That sounds like something you can probably configure in the LG’s settings – hopefully something that’s mentioned in their user manual?
Though, I wonder why you want to use the DLNA client if you have a proper Plex player on your system?
I use both the plex app and the server directly from the inputs of the smart tv lg and honestly it is faster to access through input “Plex media server: My Name”.
I solved it. I basically started the firestick on the same smart tv and magically the plex media server appeared. Now it has remained in the tv inputs fortunately and it works. Mysteries…
