I'm following this guide -

And I'm stuck on step 4. I'm using aTV3. When I run plexconnect, a cmd screen pops up for like 1 second then it closes on its own. I never saw a firewall warning - and never was able to see it long enough to write down the IP_Self numbers to do the next step. Did I do something wrong?

It most probably ended with an error msg - open a cmd window, "cd" to your PlexConnect directory and run it manually. That way you will be able to read the last message, as the window isn't directly closing down on you.
Alternatively, look in the PlexConnect.log file, it should get generated in the same directory.

I did all the certs and put the first 2 in the appropriate folder.
While I consider myself tech-savvy, I don't know how to use the CMD very much. what do I type to do cd? I did the cmd and then typed cd but nothing happened. Not sure how to get to plexconnect.
can't find the plexconnect.log file - maybe its because it was never launched? I looked in the plexconnect - master folder in the C drive for this.

As I don't know your directory structure, I can't tell you the exact things to type...
That seemed to do it for me - was able to get the info i needed! i didn't realize that it wanted the Ip address. I already knew that for the computer. :-)
