da qualche mese non riesco più a scaricare i metadati dei film presenti sul mio nas (qnap ts 212p)
da quanto ho capito dovrebbe essere l’architettura dell’hardware troppo vecchia,
le nuove versioni di plex non vengono più rilasciate e sono costretto ad utilizzare la Versione 0.9.15.3
Mi confermate ciò? è possibile porre rimedio anche in parte o sono costretto ad abbandonare il mio vecchio nas?

Leggendo brevemente i vari forum, ho recuperato queste informazioni:
Your QNAP TS-212P is sadly a very low-end NAS, with not much CPU power, so if going to run Plex on that, you’ll have to remember the following:
When ever you do some changes within Plex, like adding new medias etc. it's going to take a long time
As such, you must wait, and then wait a bit more before starting to use Plex
Since your QNAP comes with an ARM-based CPU, it does not allow for transcoding, meaning that if a media you wants to play on a device is not compatible, then it'll not work
As such, you'll have to check what the formats/req. of your individual devices/players are needed/supported, and manually change your medias into that

Quindi confermo che il nas in tuo possesso e’ ormai obsoleto.
Il problema della transodifica era nota sin dall’inizio, difatti veniva utilizzato solo in locale, ma il problema dei metadati pensavo si potesse porre rimedio…
