I would like to know if you could help me, I have problems playing movies from the PC to the TV. The problem is that when loading the movie in some cases it takes time to load and plays with jumps. The message that Plex throws at me is that “my connection is not fast enough.” I will mention the technical details.
My PC has an I5-9400, 16gb DDR4, M.2 for Windows, and a HDD 7200rpm where the Mkv file is stored. Everything is updated up to date. Plex media server version is 1.20.1.3252
The TV is a Sony XBR 55X805E, Android 8.0 version and the Plex App version is 8.6.0.20351.
My internet speed is 100Mbps and 20 Mbps. The PC and the TV are connected by Ethernet Cable.
Normally the movies I play have a rate of 43.6 Mb/s but I also have problems with a lower rate.
They are .mkv files with HEVC video format and AC / 5.1 for the audio, with 3840x2160 resolution.
