Problems with VC-1 Warner Bros. movies.

Hi all. I recently switched to the Xbox, as my Nvidia Sheild died on me. I went through my movies, and they all seem to work, but I’m having problems with VC-1 Warner Bros. studios movies. I have ripped my movies in MKV straight from Blu-rays, in original quality. I’m using a QNAP TS-251 NAS for transcoding, using the hardware transcoding option. I have a 1.6GHz processor with 8GB of RAM.

The problem is that the movies pause during playback, like buffering, and then continue for a bit, then do it again. Is there some setting that I can do that will change this behavior? It’s driving me nuts.

There is no setting.
The NAS isn’t powerful enough for the transcode of those high bitrate VC-1 streams that likely direct played or streamed on the Shield.
