Procedure to Manually Update a Raspberry Pi Plex Media Server

I’m currently running PMS v1.21.1.3876 on my Raspberry Pi 4B and received notification in the Settings | General that an update to v1.21.2.3943 is available and must be installed manually. I followed the steps here for DEB-based distros to enable the PMS repository. However, when I run sudo apt-get update followed by sudo apt full-upgrade, nothing Plex-related is detected or upgraded.

I’m looking for some guidance as to what I’m not doing correctly.

Thanks.

  1. you either enable the respository (/etc/apt) then use apt-get
    -or-
  2. Download the DEB file and install manually via dpkg.

Thanks. My /etc/apt/sources.list.d/plexmediaserver.list file was incorrect.
