I would pay additional to have a grid.

I don’t think I would. Having the guide data is important to DVR functionality with respect to discovery, scheduling and the like. The guide data is already there for Plex Pass subscribers so paying more for the grid doesn’t make sense IMO.
If however, its a add-on compainion product for a nominal fee as I suggested earlier then I can see it.
Or as several has already suggested, make a chronological timeline with posters for each channel, there is no way you can have a patent on that.
I think the chronological timeline for each channel is the best idea - however not having the actual channel number ANYWHERE useful in the Program Guide is ridiculous! It’s virtually impossible to answer the question “What’s on channel x at time slot y?”
Cleaning up my support queries. Seems like the way I (and many others) think it should work is different than the way Plex wants it to work. It is up to them address it as a enhancement.
@brian.don - we have a grid layout coming
YES!!!
I am glad to hear that Plex will be implementing a grid view for TV guide. I am an Emby user, but am very unhappy with their Windows Interface. It is very poor, nowhere near as good as Android or Android TV, heck they even just made the Roku better than Windows. So I have been trying out Plex. I also use Emby for Live TV, but without a grid, the TV service is useless. There are a few missing features, such as collections.
I have canceled me Plex Pass. I actually canceled it the same day, but I will keep an eye out for the grid and try it again.
