I have Plex pass and purchased mainly to use via the PS4 app, I’ve only been using it for about 2 months but it’s INSANELY inconsistent!
I have Plex on my Mac and PS4 updated to the latest version, my mac is the server.
It works for my iPhone, iPad and android TV box, but whenever I use the PS4 app (when I need the sound to come through the PS4 headphones) it plays for approximately 30 mins, then loses connection to the server?
My Mac and PS4 are both connected to the same router over wifi. I have also assigned them both a dedicated IP address after reading through some previous posts and trying to problem solve.
I notice whenever it loses connection it seems to be a remote access problem coz when I go there on my Mac it’s in red ”not available outside your network”.
It’s incredibly annoying because I know it works as it’s perfect for 20-40 mins at a time, but then always fails and loses connection and I have to sign out and back again until it finds the server again.
