PS4 Player keeps disappearing. Unable to "play-to"

Hi,

I am trying to “play-to” the PS4 from my iphone and ipad to the PS4. I have the plex app selected on the PS4, and launch the ios app. If I click the top-right “choose a player” icon, all I see is the iphone and/or ipad. The PS4 does not appear. If I restart the PS4, and re-launch the PS4 plex app, it will appear once again, but will not last long. The next time I come back and re-launch the plex app on the PS4, I have to restart it again.

BTW To be clear, I’m not losing my connection from the PS4 to the media server, I’m just not able to find the playback device using ios as a remote control. It all works just fine if I use the PS4 controller and don’t involve the ios devices at all.

Any ideas?

Did you ever get this issue fixed?

It stopped working a while back for me then randomly worked for about a week ages ago and then didnt again up until this day.

Still not working via the android app and hasnt for several months now despite using the latest versions on all three platforms (pc running server, android and ps4) - works fine with the fire stick and even using one phone to control another etc but nothing finds the ps4 at all
