A while back I posted looking for volunteers to help test my new service. I’m happy to announce with everyone’s help the service is now live!
Publier for Plex is a new cloud service to let you publish media related events from your Plex server (play, watched, added, etc) to social platforms like Slack, Discord, Twitter, and more.
The keen among you may be asking “Can’t you do this already with Tautulli or Zapier?”. Absolutely you can, however both of those options require time, resources, and expertise to set up. Publier leverages the webhook feature available to Plex Pass subscribers so there’s no need to install additional software or go through a cumbersome setup process.
Sign up for your free account to get started publishing to one platform of your choice. If you want to unlock more platforms and features upgrade to the lifetime tier for a small one time fee (helps me keep the service running and developing new features).
I am a developer by day, and Plex junkie by night. This project is very much a scratch-my-own-itch endeavour that I created so my friends and I could see what we are watching posted to our Slack.
