I have a multi-purpose radio player speaker in my kitchen (FM/DAB radio, Web Radio, DLNA player…). I would like to use it to play my Plex music playlists. I can use the DLNA server of plex, but browsing from my speaker small screen is not very friendly. and you cannot see plex playlists.
So I would like to use plexamp on my mobile to send to my music to my DLNA renderer and when compatible, in directplay (lossless files). I know this is technically possible : it is the “Play To” feature of the DLNA standard. Windows already can do it, and LMS (logitech media server) can do it also with DLNA plug-ins.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
Therefore this one is closed, to prevent spreading the votes across several threads, even though they vote for the same (or at least very similar thing).
