Mainly I’m wondering if anyone has successfully created/modified a pychromecast Plex Controller that will actually let you pick what file to play (not just press “play”). I’ve been trying for a few days now with no luck. I can get any show/movie’s details to pop up on the chromecast, but not actually play. I’ve tried using the Chrome “net-internals/#capture” to catch the message being sent from chrome to the chromecast when casting from there, but the command didn’t work to play from python.
Alternatively, do PlexPass holders get any kind of developer support that might help me here?
