I would love to see a replacement API (not necessarily Python) in place for metadata fetching, implementing additional features like Sub-Zero and the like. Providers of 3rd party tools could amend their solutions.

See Iām being pushed more to update the scanner. Not going to happen from me unless subzero is incorporated!
Can we please get plugin support again, Subzero was working so much better then the current implementation for subtitles that hardly works at all

I totally agree, this is beyond silly how they could even consider taking such a huge leap backwards

I ended up switching to bazarr which Iāve managed to get to set and forget now, shame they couldnāt get this natively in plex.
