QNAP Plex Server view all folder on root

Hello, i have a problem on library, when i use Plex admin user i can add folder to library and this is ok but i don’t understand why my plex see all folder structure (not only share but including root)

I have a strong auth with OTP to enter in my nas and after this if any of my plex user find 4 digits enter in my plex admin account and it can see my entire nas???

I tried to crearte a Plex user on nas with folder restriction and install plex on it but i continue to see all folder structure…

thank you
Alessandro

QNAP TVS-871 firmware 4.4.1.1146
Plex server 1.18.5#:

On the QNAP NAS, all applications runs as Root User (Admin), incl. Plex Media Server

Above is a limitation by QTS

no Plex fix, plugin or config modify to hide directory in plex visualization?
For me that’s a serious security vulnerability

Thank you for your answer
Alessandro

Why?

Only Server Admin has access to it anyway

Because to enter on my nas and view folder structure i must submit name, password and OTP code, with plex is enough to guess four digits
kody, for example, open my dir with user login data and this constrain

That is because you set the app to remember login, and besides, only your household is in your home, right?

And remember, that the “problem” here is not Plex, but the way a qpkg works on a QNAP based NAS
