Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. I take it to do a manual trashing, you would need to reactivate EMPTY TRASH, then manually update, then immediately disable it, as I do not see a button to EMPTY TRASH.
No. The “Empty trash automatically after every scan” option is only applicable to the automatic scenario. Manual emptying of trash is always available, irrespective of that global setting.
The option to empty trash for a library is available in its “action” menu (the vertical ellipsis if you hover you pointer over the library in the left-pane of the web admin). Select Manage Library → Empty Trash from that menu.
