Question: Will backed-up DVDs be deinterlaced with the "new experience"?

Hi!

I have a few 480i-only DVDs that I would like watch on my Chromecast 4K with Google TV (and my Pixel 9a), but it seems that the MKV files which I made with MakeMKV are not being deinterlaced by the current player. Are there any plans to add that feature?

In fact… Does any official Plex Player support that?

I would like my MPEG2VIDEO files to be deinterlaced by the player, as well as getting infos for nerds like me to know which algorithm is/are used for it; with the possibility to switch between different algorithms.
