QuFirewall and Plex users have expereince and suggestions?

Question for the QNAP users.
Anyone use QuFirewall?

  1. What is the overhead of the running program?
  2. How much does it slow down bandwidth?
  3. How aggressive is it, is it hard to manage such that running programs can be difficult to set up to access remotely?
  4. Overall is it worth running?

The biggest appeal to me is the GeoIP block feature and just the overall added security. However with my current practices and set up my security is fairly tight as is. I just do not run any kind of firewall and have been wondering.

Speaking to the security aspect, and strictly my personal thoughts.

  1. I have a “Firewall” vendor (pfSense) provide site security.
  2. I don’t have other firewalls active.
  3. Would I want Netgate to write my NAS software ? :thinking:
